1. DESCRIPTION OF WEBSITE
UPTAKE a multidisciplinary collaboration of five research institutions in both Africa and Europe. Running from 2020-2022, UPTAKE seeks to accelerate access and facilitate adherence to effective and innovative long-acting (LA) technologies to prevent HIV and unintended pregnancy in adolescent girls, and young women and female sex workers in sub-Saharan Africa through behavioural science. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, IAVI provides the Website on behalf of UPTAKE indiscriminately to visitors for informational purposes.
UPTAKE’s Website contains general information about the study. We do our best to ensure that this information is accurate and current, but we do not represent, warrant or guarantee the accuracy of this data.

This Agreement is governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law rules. You expressly agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with IAVI, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, officers, directors, agents and content providers, that in any way relates to your use of the UPTAKE Website, or the information contained therein, resides in the courts of the State of New York.

All content included or available on the Website, including site design, text, graphics, interfaces, and the selection and arrangements thereof is copyrighted material of UPTAKE, with all rights reserved, or is the property of third parties protected by intellectual property rights.
